Vaccination, testing or proof of recovery are now required in restaurants and cafes in Italy, Portugal and Denmark. But where and when will it be requested? Here is the device.

He was already required to cross most of the intra-European borders. The health pass is now necessary to access many places and activities. In France, it is extended this Monday, August 9 - with a week of "running-in" confirmed by the government spokesperson - to all planes, trains and long-distance buses, as well as to cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, hospitals , retirement homes, medico-social establishments. This is in addition to places of leisure and culture bringing together more than 50 people: cinemas, nightclubs, performance halls, amusement parks, concert halls, festivals and sports halls.

In Europe, several of our neighbors have adopted similar measures.

From restaurants to spas to museums and theaters, it's hard to avoid in the main summer destinations.

Except in Switzerland or Great Britain where it is, for the moment, only optional.

How to get the EU digital Covid certificate?

The EU digital Covid certificate, or European health pass, is given to people who have completed a complete vaccination schedule, recovered from Covid (via positive test dating at least 11 days and less than 6 months) or tested negative ( valid 72 hours for a PCR test and 48 hours for an antigen).

In France, the vaccination certificate for the second injection is delivered directly in European format. You can therefore present the QR code at the top right of the document at the border control and at the places requesting the sanitary pass. If you lose your paper document, it is possible to download it in PDF format from the Health Insurance website. You can reprint it, or keep it in digital format for display on your screen if needed. A photo of the document may suffice. The vaccination certificate can also be integrated into the “TousAntiCovid” application. All you have to do is flash the QR code at the bottom left of the vaccination certificate.

For people cured of Covid-19 and those tested negative, the process to obtain the European certificate is described on the government website.
