G7 countries condemn Iran: "All evidence points to its responsibility to attack the tanker"
The foreign ministers of the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Canada, Japan, Italy and the European Union have blamed the country for the attack on Mercer Street in the Gulf of Oman.

The foreign ministers of the G7, the Organization of Industrialized Countries, today (Friday) condemned the tanker attack off the coast of Oman last week, saying all available information clearly indicates that Iran is responsible for it.
"This was a planned and deliberate attack, and a clear violation of international law," the foreign ministers said in a joint statement.
"Iran's behavior, as well as support organizations messengers and those who armed non-state actors, threaten international peace and security. We call on Iran to stop all moves that do not comply with the decisions of the UN Security Council."
