A multifunctional area is to be created on Moosburger Strasse, on the meadow opposite the triple gymnasium.
Actually, so reported Mayor Gerhard Betz when asked by FT, parking spaces should be created on "Zigeunerplatz", as the place is called by the people of Nandlstadt.
But because these are “not eligible” as part of urban development funding, according to Betz, the area is now to be prepared in such a way that it can be used in a variety of ways - for example for events or campaigns.
The contract for the planning services for the construction of the multifunctional area was handed over to the Amedia Group, landscape planning Susan Ahn, for a gross offer of a good 9500 euros.
The costs for the whole project, so explained Betz, will amount to around 100,000 euros.
CSU house bought
The community also took money into their hands to buy the CSU building on Bahnhofstrasse.
"You had to take a situation like that," Betz told the FT.
The municipality spent 335,000 euros on the building that used to house the savings bank.
For what purposes the house will be used has not yet been determined.
However, because of its close proximity to the town hall, it would be conceivable that parts of the administration could be outsourced, according to Betz.
However, there are currently no concrete plans.

At the most recent meeting of the market council, the task was to determine street names for the "Korbinianstrasse" building area. The fact that the main street is called Korbinianstrasse was without discussion. But it was about the short connecting piece from the Tafelmaiersiedlung to Korbinianstraße, which, according to the administration's proposal, “needs a new street name” - for example Korbinianweg or a completely different one. CSU market councilor Franz Maier did not see it that way: “It is also possible to use a street name”, he pointed out “impressively”. He pleaded for the 30-meter-long connecting road to be named Korbinianstrasse. Everything else is a "shield prank". In the end, the other market councilors saw it that way too: If it is legally possible - this is still being clarified - the short connecting route will also be called Korbinianstrasse.
