At about 11 o'clock in the evening yesterday (7th), the police launched an anti-smuggling operation in the waters off Lan Kok Tsui, Tuen Mun.
During the pursuit of a suspected smuggling vessel, a man on the vessel fell into the sea and disappeared. The authorities later dispatched Marine Police, Fire Services, Marine Department and Government Flying Service to search and rescue. However, the missing person has not been found yet.
The police arrested another man on the spot and seized a batch of dogs and bunnies. They are now investigating the incident.
