The second young man indicted this week, accused of being the alleged perpetrator of the mortar fire on the police on July 25 in Bonneuil, was not released on Friday.
The boy, already known for acts of violence, had asked for a delay to prepare his defense before the judge of freedoms and detention.
But the latter again placed him under a warrant of committal.
The investigation, carried out quickly by the departmental security, continues under the authority of an examining magistrate.
It had been opened for “attempted voluntary homicide on a person holding public authority, complicity in this attempt, aggravated violence, death threats and recording and dissemination of violent images”.
On July 25, forty young people gathered in the Saint-Exupéry district, during a real urban rodeo, and attacked a police patrol.
A point-blank mortar shot at the police vehicle severely burned one of the officers in the back.
His two colleagues have also since suffered from hearing problems and the trauma of the scene, during which their colleague was screaming "I'm burning!"

In this case, a first author was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention last week.
The second, who has just been placed under a committal warrant, was arrested in Paris when he "was preparing to flee to Mali", a police source told the Parisian earlier this week.
Coming to support the police at the Créteil police station the day after the events, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin denounced a "real assassination attempt".
