Four cats from the Hof animal shelter have found a home there.
Nuremberg - Four cats live in a Nuremberg * company around the clock.
They come from the animal shelter and because of their aggressive behavior were considered to be instantaneous.
The self-made millionaire and entrepreneur Peter Götz was looking for such “poor souls”.
He finally found what he was looking for in the Hofer * animal shelter.
A year ago he took three cats into the office of his real estate company.
He is convinced that the kitties have a positive effect on the working atmosphere.

Götz has a few cats at home himself.
"It seemed almost impossible to get cats for the office from an animal welfare organization," explains Götz in an interview with

The shelters feared that the cats would not be properly cared for.
However, the office in Nuremberg is manned for 12 hours and all employees stick together.
The cats "Kitty", "Olaf" and "Worms" are allowed to move around freely on almost 800 square meters of office space.
The office kitties are always fed at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
And that also on the weekend.
An extra service was assigned for this.

“The cats are fully integrated.
You sit next to the keyboard and work with us, ”explains Götz.
The cats were very aggressive in the first few weeks.
“Today they are the best cuddly kittens you can imagine,” says the entrepreneur happily.
The employees are also enthusiastic about the cuddly cats and use their breaks for petting.
Three months ago the company even took in a fourth cat.
The 18-year-old senior citizen “Hella” was also considered to be impossible to find and has now found a new home in the open-plan office.

"No matter who comes in, everyone is absolutely thrilled when they are greeted by the cats at the elevator," says Götz.
The cats are not allowed into two rooms.
In this way, there is also provision for the event that a visitor is allergic to the four-legged friends.
He hopes other companies will consider taking cats out of shelters as well.
