The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, criticized the hegemony of some Western countries, especially the United States, over international organizations.
And the Iranian Fars news agency quoted Qalibaf as saying, during his meeting in Tehran with the President of the World Parliamentary Union, Duart Ventura Pacheco, as saying that some governments that have more funds and facilities control international organizations and here unilateralism is formed, calling for confronting the unilateralism pursued by Washington in its hostile policies against countries.
Qalibaf indicated that the United States ignored the resolutions issued by the United Nations and the Security Council.
Yesterday, Qalibaf criticized the hostile policies of the United States and the imposition of unjust sanctions on Iran and Russia, and said that the joint military and security cooperation between the two countries in the region constitutes a strong barrier against the US measures destabilizing security and stability.
