Starting next week: A green mark for children recovering from corona based on a serological examination
The pilot in the ultra-Orthodox sector will be the first implementation of the program to open the studies.

Starting next week, the Ministries of Health, Defense, Education and the Home Front Command will launch a joint operation with local authorities to perform serological tests for children aged 12-3.
The purpose of the operation is to grant recovery certificates to children who are found with antibodies in the amount that indicates that they have recovered from corona, thus giving them an exemption from isolation if they come in contact with a verified virus.
This is the first implementation of the study outline for the upcoming school year.
The outline has not yet been fully approved, and the cabinet is expected to discuss it on Sunday.
In the first phase, the test operation will take place in the cities of Elad, Bnei Brak, Modi'in Illit and Beit Shemesh.
Also, the first to perform the tests will be students from the ultra-Orthodox sector, whose school year begins as early as next week.

In addition to a safe school routine, the recovery certificates that will be given to the children subject to the results of the serological tests will constitute a permit for the children to enter the places that operate according to the green mark.
The serological test will be given free of charge, and will be performed using a blood test taken from the finger accompanied by the student's parent.
It was further emphasized that the test is not intended to detect latent morbidity, but is intended to alleviate children who have already contracted and recovered from the virus.
