Today, the Israeli enemy renewed its violation of Lebanese airspace and territorial waters.

The Lebanese Army Command stated in a statement that an Israeli enemy reconnaissance plane violated the Lebanese airspace over the town of Kafr Kila and carried out circular flights over the southern regions, then left the airspace over the aforementioned town towards the occupied territories.

The Lebanese Army Command indicated that an Israeli enemy warship violated the Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras Al-Naqoura, pointing out that the issue of Israeli violations is being followed up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

For its part, the Lebanese National Media Agency reported that enemy warplanes violated Lebanese airspace today and flew at medium altitude over the upper Kesrouan region and over Jezzine in southern Lebanon.

In addition, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the Lebanese caretaker government, Zina Aker, requested the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations to file a complaint against the Israeli entity to condemn the bombing of Lebanon on August 4 and 6, 2021, in the strongest terms.

Aker stressed that the Israeli bombing of Lebanon constitutes a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, the Charter of the United Nations, the provisions of international law and international resolutions issued by the Security Council, especially Resolution 1701.
