Beirut, SANA- The Lebanese caretaker prime minister, Hassan Diab, called on the United Nations to pressure the occupation entity

Beirut-Sana

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab called on the United Nations to pressure the Israeli occupation entity and oblige it to respect international resolution 1701 and stop its violations of Lebanese sovereignty.

Diab stressed, during contacts with several parties against the backdrop of the Israeli aggression today and yesterday in several areas in the south, "the necessity of restoring calm and stopping the repeated Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty, which culminated in the raid carried out by enemy aircraft on Lebanese territory, which constituted a direct and strong threat to Resolution 1701."

In turn, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that the Zionist aggression expresses the nature of this entity based on aggression, which is not deterred by the language of condemnation, but in one language, which is the language of unity and resistance.

Berri said in a statement today, "If statements of condemnation and expressions of condemnation had deterred the Israeli entity and its security, political and military levels and curbed their aggression, Palestine would have been liberated a few days after its occupation, and (Israel) would not have dared to commit massacres in Qana and Mansouri and before them in Deir Yassin and Bahr al-Baqar. Condemnation works when the Israeli entity once thought of desecrating Lebanon’s sovereignty and occupying parts of its land.”

Berri stressed that the obvious position and the quick national response to what happened and is happening must be with the haste of those concerned with government affairs to take a sincere patriotic act that resists narrow personal interests, through which it closes all the doors that open to disruption and vacuum in state institutions, especially in the executive authority.

For its part, the Association of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon affirmed in a statement that the resistance's response to the Zionist bombardment came to reinforce the equation established by the resistance, which is that every attack will be responded to with the same.

While the Islamic Action Front in Lebanon affirmed the natural and legitimate right of the resistance to defend Lebanon's land, sky and sovereignty and to respond to the brutal Zionist crimes and attacks.

The front said in a statement, “We stand with the resistance, alongside it and behind it in all options that deter this enemy from persisting in its aggression,” adding that “the time of attacks without response has passed and gone forever, and that the resistance and its people and all those who believe in the choice of dignity and honor are ready at any time and place to defend Sanctities and sanctities, and the sovereignty of Lebanon and the unity of its land and people.

The Beirut Scholars Association also saluted the resistance, praising its reciprocal response to the enemy's attacks for making it clear that the resistance is fully prepared to defend the sovereignty of the nation.

The authority stressed that "the right to respond and defend our country and sovereignty, for which we have paid great sacrifices, is a legitimate matter, and the enemy must understand that well, and the message today is very clear."

The sheikh of the monotheistic Muslim sect in Lebanon, Nasr Al-Din Al-Gharib, stressed that the resistance's response to the Israeli aggression is natural, and we all stand by the resistance in defending the land and the homeland.

Al-Gharib said: "Whenever the American administration feels a detraction from its conditions in the ongoing negotiations with Iran, we see it initiates to stir up its tails in the region, but the resistance is able to confront this brutal enemy."

Sheikh Ahmed Al-Qattan, the head of the Association (Our Words and Action) noted the response of the resistance to the Zionist enemy, because it only understands the language of deterrent force.

For its part, the Arab Unification Party denounced the Israeli aggression against the south, which once again shows the enemy's intention to attack Lebanon's sovereignty and threaten its security and stability.

The party said in a statement, "We stand by the resistance in defending our land and dignity, and we put all our capabilities at the disposal of the resistance in these difficult circumstances that require all Lebanese to close ranks to repel the Israeli aggression."

In turn, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party saluted the resistance’s response to the Israeli attacks, and said in a statement, “It is the right of our people to defend their occupied land by all possible means, foremost of which is armed resistance until the liberation of every inch of our land in the Golan, Shebaa Farms, Kfar Shuba hills, and the entirety of our Palestinian south. With it, the enemy’s attacks are unpunished and gone forever, and the account is open.”

While the People's Movement affirmed that the resistance's response to the Israeli aggression was thoughtful and proportionate and prevented the enemy from achieving anything in its confrontation with Lebanon and its resistance.
