Several hours had passed since the incidents and the
attempted seizure
in the Municipality of Lomas de Zamora, and the members of left-wing social movements were still there, now on the outside of the building after having been evicted by the Police, but with intent to sustain the protest.
"If necessary, we will camp and stay,"
was the warning.
That of this Thursday was the most virulent of the protests, but the truth is that the crosses between the intendancy of Martín Insaurralde and these left movements have been going on for a long time.
It is an escalation of claims that has been going on for about a year, with
cuts in Puente La Noria
and, in the last two or three months, marches to the Municipality, cuts with burning of roofs in Hipólito Yrigoyen avenue and demonstrations in Plaza Grigera (the main one in the center of Lomas).
The conflict involves the distribution of food aid in the most neglected areas of that municipality in the south of Greater Buenos Aires (Campo Tongui, Villa Albertina and, in general, neighborhoods near the Riachuelo and Puente La Noria).
The protesters say they
leave their dining rooms and picnic areas outside the cast
to favor Peronist groups.
From the municipality they argue that the assistance is low from Nation and Province and they distribute it based on the lists they receive.

In the group that entered the Municipality there were mainly militants from radicalized left movements and social organizations: the Coordinadora de Unidad Barrial-Movimiento Teresa Rodriguez (CUBa-MTR) led by Oscar Kuperman, and also from other factions of the MTR, the Frente Resistance, Latin American Socialist Left, Water Forum-Social Equality, Territorial Liberation Movement (MTL) Rebel and Movement for Latin American Unity and Social Change.
Kuperman was one of the leaders denounced for incitement to violence in 2019 by
Patricia Bullrich
, then Minister of National Security, after a social movement camp in front of the Ministry of Social Development.
Shortly after the eviction of the protest on Thursday, Insaurralde defined them as
"a group of violent people"
and assured that it was "a different and atypical event" that had never happened before.

"They are" social movements that demand bags of food, "they explain in the Municipality of Lomense.
"The problem is that they
pretend that the bags of food are given to them,
and they distribute them. When here, throughout their lives, they are asked for the lists of the people they consider they have to receive and they are distributed based on them ", they add.
And they conclude: "Not these people, they
want to distribute them for some very specific purpose
."
They also emphasize that the help they demand is not something that the local government can influence.
"All they ask for
are programs that do not depend on the Municipality.
Once the Nation or Province includes them in these programs, they are asked for the lists and the municipality distributes them," they say.
"We are not a bag of merchandise,
" replied Viviana, one of the protesters installed one block from the Municipality, in Hipólito Yrigoyen and Sáenz, a member of the Latin American Socialist Left movement. polenta, an oil and two packages of noodles. Is that going to keep the whole pandemic going? ".
He says that there are many children going hungry, new popular pots and dining rooms that were opened and are not recognized.
And he exclaims: "They don't help us when other picnic areas in the same neighborhoods go and take down a lot of merchandise and we don't."

"that are on the side of the Government", and lists: "of the Evita (Movement), Barrios de Pie and also the CCC".
"The mayor does not want to talk. We saw his policy today repressing people, women and colleagues. We are going to stay here and if it is necessary to camp, we are going to do it because we are prepared," he says.
Likewise, the group affirms that the claim they maintain is from "more than a year" ago, during which they mobilized

"We have been asking for genuine work for all our colleagues, public works, work for our cooperative members and the recognition of our picnic areas. The municipality gives recognition to other picnic areas and they do
not want to recognize us
," they commented.

"Some
50 people who separated themselves from the rest of the social movements,
began to throw stones at the windows of the Municipality and then tried to enter", this is how they describe the situation of the attempt to take over the communal building from within the city hall.

On the opposite side, the version is: "We went peacefully to the municipality, and their response was aggression. We

and what our colleagues did was defend themselves, struggle. Then they started with pepper spray and rubber bullets, and we all defended ourselves from aggression. "
From the left wing organization they denounce and claim: "They beat us up, they kidnapped us three buses. We ask Insaurralde to show his face and give us a meeting."
