Diego Santilli and Facundo Manes, the main contenders for the Juntos en la Provincia internship, previewed their campaign spots for what promises to be the hottest election in PASO 2021. The PRO candidate points to his "experience" in management, as a career politician;

while the radical neuroscientist showed his origins in Salto, in his role as an

outsider

"Experience" in the Santilli campaign

With the focus on his management and the figure of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta as the main promoter of his candidacy, Diego Santilli launched his first campaign spot entitled

“Experience”

, which will begin to air as of this Sunday in the spaces assigned to the parties politicians by the National Electoral Directorate.

The video, produced by the communication team of the former Buenos Aires deputy head of government with the publicist

Carlos Pérez (head of the BBDO Argentina agency)

, points to a well-defined three-phase scheme of what will be the “Colorado” campaign, nickname of Santilli who was used for the officialization of his candidacy, when a lock of red hair was shown in networks.

The Juntos proposal consists of a first stage in which the objective is to listen to the neighbors and understand their problems, which include not only the pandemic, but also the consequences of the extended quarantine.

"The bad policies of the government of the Province and the Nation the only thing they generated was an

increase in poverty, insecurity, inflation and unemployment,

" they mark in the Santilli campaign team.

Far from the bells and colored balloons, symbols of the macrista campaign of 2015 and 2017, now the larretista campaign manual emphasizes the installation of Santilli tables to listen to the neighbors.

"

There is a lot of anguish, fear and uncertainty, that's what we hear,

" they pointed out to Clarín.

After listening to the neighbors, the second stage of the campaign follows:

the presentation of projects

, which will begin with an act, within 15 days, with all the national referents of the space and the candidates for deputies and opposition mayors of the Province of Buenos Aires.

“From listening, we are going to generate the proposals that we are going to take to Congress.

That is our difference with the other candidates who go to the Province ”, they mark near Santilli.

Diego Santilli, accompanied by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, during a meeting with residents of Avellaneda.

"We put the people first, not the leaders. That's why listening. And we put the experience of a team that gave concrete results into play as a differentiator," added a collaborator of the candidate.

In the midst of this, the “Experience” spot aims to

show Santilli as a manager with friction in management

, capable of moving the Province forward.

With a series of phrases that are interspersed with photos of Santilli and Larreta, co-star of the spot, in the video the candidate is heard saying: "It is security, it is education, it is the freedom to work, to grow."

"That is to say enough to the one who imposes you, the one who mistreats you, steals your dreams."

It is truly believing that transformation is possible.

It is above all things, work, work and work.

Because that is our experience

”, says Santilli in the spot.

The last phase of the

Santilla

campaign

will be the request for the vote with a predominance of Larreta, mayors and national leaders calling to vote for Colorado.

"Jump", the bet of Manes

Touring his hometown, where he is known as "Goropo" rather than Facundo Manes, the "Dar el Paso" candidate chose to show where he came from in his first campaign spot.

"

I grew up here, I learned ... Not only from the printing press, from working in the printing press, but also from life,

" he explains.

"We met on the street. He was crazy, so fast," says another friend of Manes, the "Chori" Pussycat, while they walk through a field.

"It was taken out there but after a while he was hugging and kissing," he says, with cows ruminating in the background.

"It never failed me."

Nestor Rollín, owner of the printing press, tells the camera about the achievements of the radical doctor.

"I knew about his effort, I knew why he hadn't told me about it, because I saw it. A lot of perseverance, a lot of drive, a lot of grit, he always had that ... I hope he doesn't lose it," says the printer of Salto.

"You can learn political management, because I'm sure you are surrounded by people who know ... Now ... honesty is not learned, skinny," says Nestor with his hoarse voice.

"The honesty or you bring it or you do not bring it"

, sentence.

And immediately afterwards the neuroscientist appears at his house in that city, along with a mate and a kettle of hot water.

"The only thing that I am not going to change is my way of being," promises the candidate in his spot entitled "Jump".

The Manes campaign team, which has the contribution of the creative Gastón Douek, bet to show something that is not acted out.

"It is authentic, there are no actors. One of those who speaks is a friend of Manes and the other the one who gave him one of his first jobs," they point out.

The piece, as explained to

Clarín

, confirms the role of outsider of the neuroscientist.

"He does not speak like a politician but like a common guy."

The idea - they maintain - is to get out of the crack, to put the fight in another dimension.

"He comes out of the labyrinth at the top, he says that management can be learned but that what he brings to politics are values", they synthesize on the somewhat lengthy video for the tyrannical times of electoral advertising on TV, since it lasts 1 minute and 48 second.

An impasse in controversy

Facundo Manes in Ezeiza greeting a Santilli militant.

Oblivious to the controversy that Facundo Manes' statements generated, when he said that he hoped that the funds of the Buenos Aires residents would not be used in the Buenos Aires campaign, a fact that unleashed a judicial battle with Elisa Carrió that promises to end in Courts, Santilli chose

not get into the mud and put the controversy aside.

Internal discussions contribute to making the ruling party fat

;

We have an adversary that is Kirchnerism, and we are working together with Horacio, Lilita, Patricia, Pichetto, Montenegro, Gustavo Posse and a sector of radicalism, and all our mayors and candidates to win this election and be a better alternative that faces and solve the historical problems that the Province has, ”he said.

In that sense, he pointed to Security as a campaign leitmotif. “We are concerned about the lack of coordination between the Nation and the Province in the fight against crime and drug trafficking.

There is a political decision of Kirchnerism not to address security

, which is nothing more than giving freedom and tranquility to Buenos Aires, "he said in Mar del Plata, where he arrived from the hand of Elisa Carrió.

From the UCR, meanwhile, they are critical of his figure. Without going far, this Saturday, Gerardo Morales, Jujuy governor, criticized him. "

Santilli is not going to move the ammeter

, he is going to keep the data from Together for Change as it is. I think the

new data will be a triumph for Facundo Manes

, and from there the possibility of beating the Frente de Todos in the district largest in the country, "he launched.

But no Manes.

The neuroscientist chose to leave that discussion behind to focus on touring the Province.

"I did not lie," he said about the accusation of "Lilita", who accused him of being untrue by saying that she offered to be his vice candidate in 2015. In any case, he preferred not to stir the matter:

"You have to look in the future, the fight is useless, "he

explained in radio statements.

From said to fact, in a tour of Ezeiza, Manes met a table of militants from Santilli whom he greeted effusively.

Everything was recorded on video.

Far from any kind of difference, the neuroscientist asked the boys with white bibs to bump their fists, who, for a moment, hesitated.

"Come on, say hello! They work for democracy, I think it's very good," he congratulated them.
