In parts of Bavaria there were again heavy showers and thunderstorms on Saturday.
South of Munich there are gale-force gusts, downpours and hail, the German Weather Service (DWD) reported on Twitter in the early evening.
In the north there are individual thunderstorms and "supplies from the west".
Initially, nothing was known about the damage.
The DWD had warned that if a "super cell" were to form, there was a threat of hurricane gusts at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, heavy rain with up to 60 liters per square meter and larger hail.
In the Allgäu and Ammergau Alps, heavy rain must be expected into the night.
Temporary squalls at speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour were also expected in the Alps, according to meteorologists.
In the central and eastern Alps and from the foothills of the Alps to the Danube, the prognosis was that 25 liters per square meter of rain within six to twelve hours were very likely, in the Upper Palatinate it was still unlikely.
According to the DWD in Lower Bavaria, there are still some heavy thunderstorms and heavy rain on the night of Sunday.
In Franconia, on the other hand, it should gradually loosen up.
