Miesbach - 196 graduates of the vocational school center Miesbach received their diplomas - despite Corona and with awards.

An unusual and not always easy training period lies behind this year's graduates from the Miesbach Vocational School Center (BSZ).

This time was characterized by a month-long lockdown, which had a strong influence on both the practical training in the company and the theoretical training in the vocational school, as this makes clear in a communication.

The BSZ handed over the certificates to its graduates and honored the most successful with prizes.

For many weeks, online lessons with video conferencing software were, as in other schools, the alternative to face-to-face teaching. "With a lot of advanced training and intensive instruction of the trainees, the teachers and students were able to successfully design the distance lessons together as well as intensive preparation for the exams for the graduating students," reports the BSZ. So it was possible that no lesson was canceled due to the pandemic.

The awarding of the certificates to the 196 graduates of the BSZ Miesbach took place again this year due to the pandemic by the teachers in the vocational school - and not as usual in the Gasthaus Zur Post in Bad Wiessee.

School director Martin Greifenstein and deputy Katrin Hörmann took over the awarding of the state and district prizes for outstanding achievements.

A state prize is awarded to those who have a grade point average of 1.50 or better in their vocational school leaving certificate.

The students with the best average grade in their training occupation received a district award.
