intentional homicide

A 35-year-old man was found dead in the night from Thursday to Friday in a building hall, stabbed several times, and a 49-year-old woman, suspected of being the perpetrator, was arrested , said a police source.
The magistrate confirmed that at the end of her police custody, this woman "
born in 1972
" was to be referred to the Coutances public prosecutor's office at the end of the afternoon "
with a view to her presentation before an examining magistrate
". "
The accused person will appear (Saturday) in the early evening before an investigating magistrate for his indictment,
" said Mr. Lacombe. This person is "
known to the police and justice for various offenses (traffic, insult and violence)
", he said.
The prosecutor also indicated that "
the Coutances public prosecutor's office is today opening a judicial investigation with the criminal center of the TJ (judicial court) of Coutances for acts of intentional homicide committed in Saint-Lô on the night of August 5 to 6.

The prosecutor did not wish to specify on Saturday the circumstances of the murder, nor the relationship that the accused woman had with the victim.
