CNCO redefines itself as a 1:28 quartet

The US group CNCO presented this week the video for "Toa la noche", its first single since the departure of Joel Pimentel.
According to the musical group, this marks the beginning of a new era as a quartet.
The song was recorded in "La Base", the studios created by Wisin and Los Legendarios in Puerto Rico.
There they explored new sounds, more urban, more similar to the proposal of the band in its beginnings.
"We came from a project that was quite classic and now we wanted to try to go back a bit to what was our beginnings, in a way that was quite urban. What better than to do it with Wisin! It was really a quick process but it was a little difficult, the truth is, we are not going to lie to you.
It was a moment that we did not expect to come.
The desire is there and the desire has always been.
I think CNCO is long overdue.

More mature lyrics: this is what the new CNCO will sound like
This new era will also be marked by more mature lyrics and some "a little stronger" on the subject.

Like several
boybands
, the boys of CNCO started the band as teenagers, at most they reached 20 years.
The group was born in 2015 during the Univisión reality show "La Banda", and a few months later they released their first album "Primera cita".
This production celebrates its fifth anniversary in August.
This is a time that Christopher Vélez remembers fondly and in which, as with "Toa la noche", they also worked with Wisin.
"Something super cool that we experienced on that album (is that) Wisin and his team helped us produce it too. Now that we are back from working with Wisin, we are once again experiencing that

In August the band will begin a 16-date tour in the United States, in which they will perform in a more intimate format.
The group added that the followers will enjoy both their classics and some new songs that will be part of the next record production.
The tour begins August 19 in Austin, Texas;
and will end on September 18 in Tampa, Florida.
