Honor where honor is due: Lenggrieser SC honored Werner Gutt and Wolfgang Schalch - and with the latter even the third honorary president.

- Now the Lenggrieser SC has three honorary presidents in addition to Peter Heigl and Bill Mozer with Wolfgang Schalch.
The rare award was given to the latter at the annual meeting to sustained applause from the members.
LSC boss Georg Müller, who succeeded Schalch after his twelve-year term at the head of the Lenggries sports club, referred to the major construction activity under Schalch's aegis. The redesign of the entire sports facility, the renovation and expansion of the sports center and the renovation of the artificial turf field all took place during this period. The new honorary president humbly thanked the association members and said: "Without the great support from all of you it would not have been possible."
The laudation for Werner Gutt, who was made an honorary member at the same event, was then given by Thomas "Jimmy" Lechner, the club's junior coordinator.
Gutt had already volunteered as a supervisor for the first team in the 1980s.
Later he was also head of the football department, before he developed under Schalch into the club's reliable and meticulous “technical manager”.
"As a groundskeeper, you and your team spend more than 30 hours every week with dedication and passion on our football pitches", praised da Lechner.
Visibly moved, Gutt said: "I'm foolishly proud of this award."
