Hizbullah secretary general Hassan Nasrallah said this evening (Saturday) about Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he "was in the reserves during the Second Lebanon War and saw firsthand the failure." He further claimed that Israel fears for its existence more than in the past “as a result of the internal conflicts.”

He said, “There have been no Israeli attacks for 15 years, why? The Israeli enemy was afraid to go into widespread confrontation with the resistance in Lebanon. He was afraid of war. Fear of his army. Nasrallah added that "we must maintain the achievements and victories of the Second Lebanon War."

Nasrallah stressed that the IDF air strike on Lebanon on Thursday night, in response to rockets fired from Lebanon For Israeli territory, it is an event "very serious and a very dangerous development that has not happened in 15 years."

Meanwhile, the organization has released documentation that allegedly describes the firing at Israel, which shows rockets launched in sequence from a launcher mounted on a blue vehicle.

The stormy day in the north began in the morning, after 19 rockets were fired from Lebanon at Israeli territory.

An iron dome intercepted most of them, and the rest fell in open areas in the Har Dov area.

This is the second time this week that gunfire has been fired from Lebanon, following the rockets launched on Wednesday.

In response, the IDF attacked the sources of the fire. For the

first time since the Second Lebanon War in 2006, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the barrage, announcing that it fired dozens of rockets at the Shebaa Farm, in response to recent airstrikes in the country, two days ago. The rockets were fired from the al-Arakub area in the south of the country, while the Lebanese army claimed to have arrested four people involved in the shooting.

Naim Qassem, Nasrallah's deputy, told al-Mayadin today about the rocket fire at Israel that "what Hezbollah has done is a response to the aggression that the whole world has seen. Hezbollah has publicly pledged that any attack on Lebanon will be met with an appropriate response."

He said, "Israel must understand that Lebanon is not an open arena for liquidating its accounts and examining its capabilities. Israel must understand that it must remain deterred and if not, we are ready to respond."

Nasrallah has spoken out several times in recent months, but his frequent coughs in one of his speeches, dedicated to marking the 21st anniversary of Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon, have raised questions and rumors about his health.

In Lebanon, it was reported at the time that he did not contract Corona, but was recovering from pneumonia.
