The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, warned the Israeli occupation entity against committing any foolishness by launching a new aggression against Lebanon, stressing that any raid of the occupation on Lebanon will inevitably be answered in an appropriate and proportionate manner.
During his speech today on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the July victory, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that some of the raids of the Israeli enemy in Syria are to support terrorist organizations, but these raids did not reach any of their goal, indicating that “the most important achievement achieved in the July 2006 war is to find a balance of deterrence, which is a historic achievement.” And a strategy achieved by the resistance,” noting that Lebanon was the theater of the Israeli air force in every region and for decades on buildings, institutions, targets and infrastructure, and nothing deterred them and that for 15 years, not a single Israeli raid took place on a Lebanese region.
He explained, "The raids carried out by the Israeli occupation aircraft a few days ago on open lands in the areas of Al-Jarmaq and Al-Shawakir are a very dangerous development, and in the face of these raids, the resistance had to go to an appropriate and proportionate reaction," noting that some of the aggressive actions are an essential factor in time and the delay in response. The response loses its value.
Sayyed Nasrallah added: “Our response yesterday is linked to the direct Israeli raids on southern Lebanon,” pointing out that the resistance’s qualitative missile capabilities have increased until it possesses large numbers of accurate missiles.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the resistance will not neglect what it accomplished in July 2006, regardless of the sacrifices or risks, because that will make the enemy sanctify Lebanon, turning to the enemy’s leaders by saying: “Do not miscalculate, do not bet on pressure on our people, and do not bet on division over the resistance in Lebanon, because it is not new. Noting that the resistance forced the enemy to withdraw in 2000 and defeated it in 2006 despite the division around it, and it will always be in positions of sacrifice and steadfastness.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah pointed out that the greatest foolishness that the Israeli enemy may commit is entering into a new war with Lebanon, stressing that the resistance options are open to respond to the occupation raids if they occur anywhere in the north of occupied Palestine, whether in the Galilee or the occupied Syrian Golan.
On the anniversary of the Beirut port explosion, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “We dealt with this disaster as a tragedy par excellence that affected everyone, and the main concern was healing wounds and absorbing losses.” Which contributed to the investigation and reached one conclusion that there are no weapons or ammunition in the port, which began immediately after the explosion, the political investment that was paid for by the Americans and Saudis.
Regarding the formation of the new Lebanese government, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah said: “We are waiting for the results of the talks between President Aoun and the designated prime minister regarding the formation of the government, and we will not pre-empt matters.”
