Despite the fact that at least one dose of the vaccine has been administered to more than 70% of the adult population in the country, the spread of the supercontagious delta variant of the coronavirus has caused the United States to once again register record numbers of COVID-infections. 19.

The country has registered an average of 100,000 new COVID-19 infections a day, a milestone that had not been seen since the winter.

A highly contagious variant

Since, according to these, the viral load of this is much higher, that is, the amount of virus present in the body.

people infected with the delta variant have more virus in their samples
