Dozens of Palestinians were injured this evening as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the Palestinians participating in the demonstration that took place in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, denouncing the establishment of a settlement outpost on the top of Sabeeh Mountain, which led to dozens of injuries and cases of suffocation.
A number of Palestinians, including children, were martyred and hundreds were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ assault on the daily demonstrations in the town since last May, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on the top of Jabal Sabih, which is in the middle of the towns of Beita, Qabalan, and Yatma, south of Nablus.
