Argentine forward Sergio Kun Agüero was left out of the call by Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman, the first of the post Lionel Messi era, to face Juventus of Italy this Sunday at the Camp Nou stadium for the traditional Joan Gamper trophy.

The Argentine striker, who arrived in the last market with the illusion of playing alongside his friend Leo, has a tendon injury in the inner calf of his right leg, so he will have to undergo tests in the next few hours to know the exact degree of injury.

“All the best in whatever comes my way, buddy.

And always with that smile.

I love you pa ”, wrote this Saturday the historic Manchester City striker to his friend, with whom for more than 15 years he has shared youth and senior teams.

The publication of Kun, who will wear the 19 shirt, was given in the middle of the 10th Rosario's farewell dinner at his home in Barcelona.

Barcelona announced the call for its players minutes after the emotional press conference in which Messi said goodbye to the club after 21 years.

Kun was not present in the 1899 auditorium, nor was Jorge Messi seen.

Neither will French Clément Lenglet, who suffers discomfort in the patellar tendon in his right knee, be from the game.

Barça's medical service reported that "its evolution will mark its availability."
