According to the Schongau police, a motorcyclist and a truck collided on the narrow and winding route between the two places.
According to the police, the 56-year-old Yamaha rider from the Landsberg district was heading towards Schwabsoien when he was approached by a dump truck from a 36-year-old Schwabsoien at the exit of a right-hand bend.
For a previously unexplained cause, the motorcyclist collided with the left side of the truck, fell and was injured in the ditch.
Motorcyclist is brought to the Murnau Accident Clinic by rescue helicopter
The emergency doctor who was called could not rule out a life-threatening injury, so the man was flown to the UK Murnau by rescue helicopter.
The Schwabsoier truck driver was uninjured.
The Munich II public prosecutor's office ordered an expert report to clarify the cause of the accident.
WM 3 was completely closed for about five hours.
The fire brigades Schwabsoien and Dienhausen diverted the traffic.
The property damage is estimated at around 1,750 euros.
