At the Olympic stadium in Tokyo the Games symbolic extinguishing of the Olympic brazier that marks the goodbye in Paris 2024. A choir of Japanese in kimonos opened the ceremony, before the start of the flag parade, without an alphabetical order.

. Face mask and white tracksuit designed by Giorgio Armani, the gold medalist of the 100 meters and the 4x100 relay entered the Olympic stadium waving the flag. The standard-bearers, without delegations in tow, entered individually and then lined up a large circle inside the Olympic stadium.
