A man apparently shot dead was discovered early in the morning in front of the Arcs-Draguignan station, in the town of Arcs (Var), the Draguignan prosecutor's office said on Sunday August 8, which opened an "investigation for intentional homicide".

Several rifled ammunition cases were present near the body.
The prosecution was not able to immediately specify the age or domicile of the victim.
This is a young man already known to the judicial authority, however, underlined the prosecution.

The investigation was entrusted to the research section of the Marseille gendarmerie supported by the Draguignan research brigade.
