Al-Nawaeer Club defeated the Army with a score of 58-53 points in the match that brought them together on the grounds of the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama in the first semi-final rounds of the Republic Cup basketball competition for men under 27 years old.
The first quarter ended in favor of the Norias by 15-12, and the Army settled the second revenue in its favour, 7-13, and the Norias returned to progress in the third quarter 16-8, while the fourth quarter ended in a draw 20-20 points.
The two teams will meet again next Thursday in Damascus, and if Al-Nawair wins, it qualifies for the final. If Al-Jaish wins, a third match will be played between them next Friday in Damascus.
Al-Nawaeer qualified for the semi-finals of the competition after defeating Al-Hurriya, while Al-Jaish overtook Al-Ittihad.
