Sergio Agüero will not be able to make his debut at Barcelona for about ten weeks, a period in which he will be out due to an injury to the calf of the right leg suffered this Sunday in training.
"The tests carried out on the first team player Kun Agüero have confirmed the tendon injury in the inner calf of the right leg. The approximate time of absence will be about ten weeks," announced the club.
The forward joined Barça on May 31, arriving free from Manchester City.
He participated with Argentina in the Copa América and for a week he was exercising, alone and with the group, at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The discomfort, very intense,
does not allow him to put his foot on the ground
and prevented him from being present either at the farewell press conference of his friend, Lionel Messi, or at the Joan Gamper Trophy, which Barcelona won on Sunday with a 3-point win -0 on Juventus at the Johan Cruyff stadium.
The Dutch Memphis Depay, the Danish Martin Braithwaite and the youth Riqui Puig sealed the victory of Barcelona just hours after the press conference in which Messi said goodbye to the Catalan club after 21 years.
Messi, 34, was remembered by supporters in the 10th minute of the match, in which whistles were heard against French defender Samuel Umtiti, world champion in Russia 2018.

The fans disapproved of Umtiti, who according to the local press was one of the players that Barcelona wanted to transfer in order to adjust the salary of the squad and, thus, find the formula to score Messi.
Agüero's name is added to the list of Barça's infirmary, which also includes Ousmane Dembélé, Ansu Fati and Marc-André Ter Stegen.
