Breathtaking acrobatics, skilful juggling skills and a big surprise for the youngest artist: The end of the holiday workshop “Circus Magic” in the Gautinger Schlosspark-Remise was very entertaining.

Gauting

- 14 young artists presented all kinds of movement arts on Saturday afternoon in the high dome of the Gautinger Schlosspark-Remise. They had practiced this in the holiday program workshop “Circus Magic” by the pantomimes Basti Balloni and Stefan Cassani. 60 spectators, including tiny toddlers on their mothers' laps, watched as Leopold swung on the trapeze - and did a backflip right at the start. "Applause the Remisenverein", called Basti Balloni alias Sebastian Derksen into the audience. Because the one-week circus workshop only took place this rainy summer as part of the Gautingen holiday program because the association had provided the municipality's own weatherproof coach house.

Clear the ring: to lively orchestral music, the first troop moved in with the circus director in a silver glitter costume in the dark red car with unicycle driver. Balloni carried a little dancer. Milva effortlessly balanced on the mime's two hands and juggles lemon-yellow towels to "Lemon Tree". Isa in a silver costume delighted the audience with skilful ball and ring juggling. And when Leopold swung up on the trapeze and started to flip over, the audience held their breath for a moment. But the two experienced mimes assisted, and the floor was completely lined with fall protection panels.

Clown Janne was a natural talent: the 13-year-old, who was part of the circus workshop for the fourth time, balanced on the exercise ball and threw his diabolo into the air. As befits an amusing clown, the trick only succeeded on the second attempt. Two girls presented their tricks on the balance beam while the third did her pirouettes. On a large bamboo beam, held by the two masters, little artists presented their well-rehearsed tricks with Janne.

The tension increased: to the sound of percussion, pantomime Cassani moved along an imaginary wall.

Emilian and the talented little Basti, who was there for the first time, offered first-class diabolo throwing tricks.

When Clara hung upside down on one leg in the trapeze above in the dome and after a skilful flip she landed smiling again in the ring, applause broke out.

Coco offered top acrobatics on two rope cloths.

Surprise: On the balance board by the high table, Clara played a "Happy Birthday" on her clarinet.

Because Milva, the youngest artist, celebrated her seventh birthday on Saturday.

To applause, the assembled circus family threw the little one into the air seven times.

And for the final climax, 14 happy acrobats balanced on stepladders.
