The 2020 budget regulation law has just stopped an unprecedented public deficit of almost 180 billion euros. Only a few weeks after an amending budget for 2021 announcing a new dizzying explosion of public accounts: nearly 230 billion euros of deficit now forecast for the end of the year, where the expenditure of the State budget should be equal to double its revenue. At the same time, we learned from the press that the credits of the ministries were going - apart from the recovery plan - to grow by more than 10 billion euros in the draft budget for 2022. Leaks forward in spending, deficit and the public debt appears general; and the abdication of total political decision. We no longer decide, we spend. And with even less restraint as we approach the presidential deadline.
