Forty works of plastic painting with different themes between silent nature and human formations included in the exhibition, which was hosted by the Azem Palace in the city of Hama.

The exhibition, which included the productions of the students of the Suhail Al-Ahdab Center for Fine Arts in Hama, was held in cooperation between the Directorate of Culture and the Department of Antiquities and Museums, in which 13 students from the center participated, and was distinguished by the quality of the participants and their ages.

Director of the Suhail Al-Ahdab Center of the Directorate of Culture, the plastic artist, Fadi Atoura, considered that this center constitutes a real opportunity for those wishing to learn plastic art, regardless of their lack of any knowledge of practical techniques in artistic work, pointing out that the aim of the exhibition is to motivate students to stand in front of a wide audience and launch joint exhibitions. or later individually.

Atreh pointed out that the duration of the study at the center is up to two years, divided into four courses, during which the student learns drawing, sculpture and engraving, noting a number of talents in the center, which will constitute “a true tributary of the plastic art movement in Syria.”

The Director of Culture in Hama, Sami Taha, considered that the exhibition is characterized by various participations and different scientific levels, and expresses the essence of the mission of the art centers by attracting talents, developing them and highlighting them to be able to produce professionally.

Pharmacist Nawar Al-Asheq indicated that he participated in the exhibition with five works on the heated environment and archaeological buildings, following the realistic expressive method, pointing out that the exhibition is a pioneering artistic case that embodies the cultural and artistic movement in the governorate, which has distinguished pioneers in the field of plastic arts.

The architect, Batoul Al-Hamid, stated that she participated in four sculpting works in which there is a tendency for realism and paintings of the neighborhoods of Hama, stressing the role of the center in nurturing, developing and refining artistic talents through its specialized courses.
