The Hallbergmoos municipal council also purchases air filters for the primary school.
But now it is urgent.
Hallbergmoos
- After the positive feedback from the primary school, the Hallbergmoos municipal council decided to purchase air filters for the primary school as well.
The devices had been tested for a while - and found to be good by the principal, teachers and students.
There should be a device in every classroom by autumn.
"The fan train has picked up speed"
However, as Mayor Josef Niedermair (CSU) pointed out, certain requirements must be observed when purchasing the vehicle. “Unfortunately, it's not that easy. We have to be careful when awarding the contract because only certain fans are permitted. But it is important that the devices are there by the start of school. ”School advisor Silvia Edfelder (CSU) also emphasized:“ We don't have much time. ”Youth advisor Damian Edfelder (CSU) emphasized that all precautions had to be taken in autumn regular classroom teaching could take place.
"The fan train has picked up speed, we shouldn't miss it," pleaded Heinrich Lemer (FW) for a quick purchase of the devices.
When asked about the results of the test phase, Mayor Niedermair reported that the air in the classrooms was less polluted and perceived as “felt better” by both students and teachers.
However, the town hall chief also emphasized: "Of course, it will not replace ventilation."
Profit also with regard to influenza viruses and pollen
The community chief hopes for a win "not only with a view to Corona, but also to flu viruses and pollen".
However, according to his criticism, Niedermair would have expected “a clear signal and more precise guidelines from the government”.
Environment officer Tanja Knieler (CSU) pointed out that fine dust particles are also filtered by the devices: “So let's go all out.” The local council agreed in its unanimous decision.
The purchase will cost an estimated 122,000 euros, about half of which is subsidized by the state.
Not yet included are the twelve fans for the new schoolhouse extension.
The municipality expects a delivery time of six weeks.
In order to be able to equip the classrooms reasonably on time for the start of school after the summer holidays, the administration was commissioned to order the devices immediately.
