The heavy rains and strong winds witnessed in the city of Jableh yesterday resulted in damage to a number of public facilities in the city.
The head of Jableh City Council, Engineer Ahmed Qanadel, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the maintenance and services department in the city council is removing the remnants of the rain storm and working to open rain siphons as a result of the storm sediment, in addition to cleaning the streets from tree branches and weeds.
