Ingrid Remmers is dead. The member of the Bundestag died at the age of 56.
Berlin - Ingrid Remmers, member of the Bundestag for the Left, is dead. Several party colleagues published expressions of mourning on Monday evening (August 9th, 2021).
Remmers was only 56 years old.
For example, Petra Pau, member of the Bundestag, wrote on Twitter: “Can this year end quickly, is it really enough?
I'm sad: Ingrid Remmers has died. ”Left federal chairwoman Susanne Hennig-Wellsow also spoke on social networks.
“Her heart was beating audibly to the left.
Now it has stopped beating, ”said Hennig-Wellsow on Twitter.
Remmers, who came from Ibbenbüren (North Rhine-Westphalia), was deputy spokeswoman for the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association of the Left. The left-wing politician was a member of the German Bundestag from October 2009 to October 2013 and again from September 2017. (do)
