The federal prosecutor's office has filed another indictment against the alleged left-wing extremist Lina E.

In addition to being a member of a left-wing extremist criminal organization, she is now accused of having committed dangerous bodily harm, the authority in Karlsruhe announced.

Lina E. is said to have attacked and injured a "right-wing scene" person together with three others in 2018.

E. was arrested in Leipzig in November and has been in custody ever since.

She is said to have led a left-wing extremist group that rejects the existing democratic rule of law.

Together with others, she is said to have attacked members of the right-wing scene on several occasions.

As early as May, the federal prosecutor brought charges against her and three other alleged members of the group for membership in a criminal organization and involvement in physical assaults.

In the current case, E. and three others are said to have kicked the victim down and then continued kicking and punching.

The injured party suffered injuries to the face and a fractured kneecap, said the Federal Prosecutor.

The Dresden Higher Regional Court decides on the opening of the main proceedings.
