Gina Marie Krasley, known for being the protagonist of
"My Life with 300 kilos"
, the American reality show about the fight against excess weight, died at the age of 30 at her home in Tuckerton, New Jersey.
On the reality show, Krasley revealed that her struggles with weight began as a child, after being
physically and verbally abused by her father
and taking refuge in food to get away from it all.
In the program, he also recounted his relationship with his wife Beth and that his health had put the couple's life in serious trouble.
After appearing on the show, Krasley kept in touch with the public through social media.

His family publicly encouraged donations to mental health charities in honor of Krasley and asked funeral attendees to wear

A tragic program
