The Poing S-Bahn station will remain closed until September 10th.
The platforms are currently being rebuilt.
For a reason.
According to Deutsche Bahn, the Poing S-Bahn station is to go back into operation in September. The platforms there are currently being rebuilt so that barrier-free access (at ground level) to the S-Bahn will be possible in the future. For this purpose, the platforms will be rebuilt in both directions. Due to the work, the station is closed for the entire summer vacation, there are no S-Bahn trains. Instead, a replacement bus service has been set up between Feldkirchen and Markt Schwaben. The Heimstetten stop is also currently closed, and the platforms there are also being rebuilt. According to the railway, the closures will last until September 10th.
