A boy (11) had a pistol with him on a playground in Erding on Monday.
His father left the gun unattended in the apartment.
Erding
- An eleven-year-old boy brought a pistol to a playground in Erding on Monday afternoon.
The police station in Erding reports that an attentive mother noticed this around 4.30 p.m.
After the pistol looked deceptively real, she took the gun and handed it to the boy's mother.
She also notified the police and it was found that it was a weapon that required a license and had a PTB mark.
Alarm weapons, irritant weapons and signal weapons are designated as PTB weapons.
The boy's father, who, according to the police, is authorized to possess the weapon, should have arranged for it to be kept safely.
"The facts are communicated to the district office in Erding, which checks the father's reliability in terms of possession of weapons," the police wrote.
