After the corona resolutions by the federal and state governments, Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn gave all vaccinated people hope for a more relaxed autumn and winter.
"For these three out of four adults who have been vaccinated, there will be no new lockdown," said the CDU politician in an ARD "Extra" on Tuesday evening.
This is the current legal situation and regulated by federal law, said Spahn.
The vaccinated could be sure that there would be no new restrictions for them.
Spahn again appealed to the population to get vaccinated.
Not enough people have yet been vaccinated to avoid a very heavy burden or overload of the health system.
Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) met with the Prime Ministers on Tuesday to coordinate the further course of action in the corona pandemic, among other things.
According to the decision, non-vaccinated people have to be prepared for more test obligations in everyday life - and, as of October 11, usually also pay for rapid tests themselves.
The federal and state governments also urgently called for many more citizens to be vaccinated after the holidays in order to avert more drastic restrictions in autumn and winter.
"We have to try to react with light measures in order to prevent very dramatic measures as far as possible," said Merkel.
