Berlin - The federal and state governments will discuss Germany's further course of action in the Corona * pandemic on Tuesday (August 10th, 2021).
From 12.30 p.m., Chancellor Angela Merkel * wants to discuss details of the strategy with the Prime Ministers.
Numerous topics that should be on the agenda are already circulating in advance.
Among other things, it is about corona restrictions for unvaccinated people and possible easing for vaccinated people.

The draft resolution of the Corona summit became known on Monday evening (August 9th, 2021).
This includes the following points, among others:
According to the draft resolution, unvaccinated people should continue to have access to gastronomy or cultural events with a negative corona test.
This measure should apply regardless of the infection rate and the related incidence value.
According to the draft, the basis of the further strategy should be the so-called 3G regulation: Access to restricted areas should therefore only be possible for vaccinated, recovered or tested people.
Part of this includes access to nursing homes, clinics or hospitals, or any indoor events.
According to the draft resolution, an example of this is a visit to the hairdresser.
Unvaccinated people should submit a negative corona test upon arrival when staying overnight or staying overnight and have to complete two tests per week during a stay.
According to the draft, the Corona summit will also advise that free tests should be discontinued in Germany from October.
Unvaccinated people would therefore have to pay for corona tests in the future.

Parts of the draft resolution for the Corona summit should, however, still be formulated very vaguely: In addition to various measures that affect immediate restrictions in the corona pandemic, the summit will also discuss a differentiated handling of statistical indicators.
For example, in addition to the permanent consideration of the incidence, the vaccination rate should also be included in the assessment of the pandemic situation.
