The A86 Duplex, this 10 km tunnel linking Rueil-Malmaison Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine) to Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines), will be inaccessible for two nights, to carry out maintenance operations.
This Wednesday evening, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., this axis will be closed between Rueil and Vélizy, in both directions.
A second closing night is scheduled from Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 August from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
"In order to guarantee a high level of comfort and safety to its customers, the Duplex A86 maintenance teams regularly carry out interventions", explains Vinci Autoroutes.
Maintenance work requires the complete closure of the structure, in order to guarantee a high level of safety for the teams.
This work is carried out at night, when the traffic is lower, in order to limit the inconvenience caused ”.
Deviation plans will be put in place.
The tunnel is made up of two superimposed and unidirectional traffic levels, in order to avoid the possibility of a head-on collision, hence its name “Duplex”.
Cofiroute, a subsidiary of Vinci Autoroutes, is the concessionaire until 2086.
Deviation plans will be put in place. From Rueil-Malmaison, take the departmental D 913 (avenue napoléon Bonaparte) towards Bougival / Port Marly. In Bougival, take the direction of Versailles by following the road to Versailles. At Rocquencourt, follow the A13 / A12 motorways towards St Quentin en Yvelines. On the A12 motorway, follow the direction of Evry / Lyon and join Saint-Cyr-l'École / Bois-d'Arcy and take the national N 12 towards Créteil / Vélizy.
From Vélizy: follow the national N 12, then the A12 motorway towards Rouen. Exit at Rocquencourt, take the Saint-Germain-en-Laye exit N 186. Follow the direction of the N 186 (route de Versailles) towards Louveciennes / Marly-le-Roi. At Port Marly, take the D 913 road towards Rueil-Malmaison / Bougival.
