Günzenhausen

- At the Bavarian Championship in Riem in July, she was crowned the winner of the young riders / dressage class.

Gömmer achieved the championship title with a second place on the first day and two victories on the following days - and thanks to a very strong freestyle in the final.

With the victory at the "Bayerische" on the second day, she had also met the requirements for the Golden Riding Badge.

Three-month internship in Denmark

After graduating from high school in 2020, the ambitious rider from Günzenhausen made the best possible use of the corona and transition period between school and studies for her riding career and successfully applied for a three-month internship with the Danish A-team rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen, from which she returned at the end of February.

The national team athlete starts for the Laurent equestrian center and is trained by Michaela Grupen at the Maxhof in Baldham.

Emma Gömmer had the privilege of being able to participate in regional tournaments again since March 2021.

Numerous good placements in the S * and S ** class with their two horses jumped out.

In addition to “Robsie”, as the 18-year-old Oldenburg gelding is affectionately known, the young horse Springsteen also competed.

Participation in the first sighting for the German championship

At the beginning of June it was necessary to successfully complete the participation in the first screening of the German championship.

The latter is to be held in Darmstadt at the beginning of September.

In addition to three second places with Sir Robin off Loxley (visual tests), the squad athlete also had a second place in an advanced level test for young horses with Springsteen on the credit side.

At the end of June, the Upper Bavarian Championships were held in Brunnthal-Riedhausen.

Here Emma put her young horse Springsteen in the limelight: two third places in the first two tests and victory in the final test, which was rated with a coefficient of 1.5, gave both of them the championship title for young riders in dressage.
