Defense Minister Bnei Gantz said today (Tuesday) that "our actions and reactions will be done at the time and place we are determined. Anyone who has become accustomed to equations should understand that what was is not necessarily what it will be and will do the job well."
Gantz, who addressed Iran, made the remarks during a tour of the Northern Command with the deputy chief of staff, the commander-in-chief and other senior officials.
The defense minister referred to the situation in Lebanon and the rocket fire from its territory last week.
The State of Israel calls on the world to help and is willing to help itself, but we will not allow the Lebanese tragedy to cross the border into Israel.
"We clearly see Hezbollah's attempts to take advantage of the situation at the expense of the security and livelihoods of the Lebanese citizens themselves, and all this in Iran's mission."
