Po Leung Kuk has been sticking to its posts for 143 years and has continued to provide appropriate assistance to those in need to tide over every difficulty together.
It has been more than a year since the epidemic hit Hong Kong. The society is now entering the post-epidemic era, and the demand for social welfare services from the disadvantaged groups is increasing.
Po Leung Kuk hopes to unite the forces of all parties, work together to provide various types of support to the different communities affected by the epidemic, and work together to build an inclusive and caring society.
Flag day has always been one of the important sources of charity for this Council. The donations from charity will be used in more than 300 service units of Po Leung Kwan to support grassroots families, children, young people, people with disabilities, patients and other people in need.
The administrative expenses of the event are sponsored by the members of the Board of Directors of Po Leung Kuk to ensure that one cent is used for various services and help the weak by Po Leung Kuk.

Service case sharing love at the starting line to support children with special learning needs
The 3-year-old Tzuyu was rated as developmental delay and autism spectrum disorder. His father died of a sudden illness, and the burden of caring for the family fell on his mother.
Tzuyu's special child care center narrows the development gap between Tzuyu and children of the same age through treatment and training, allowing Tzuyu to integrate into the class happily and confidently, and on the other hand, it provides emergency support for Tzuyu and her mother. And emotional counseling.
"Thanks to Po Leung Kuk for helping me in my most difficult and helpless times. The professional and timely service has greatly changed the future of Tzuyu." Mother Tzuyu
Taste the same food for people with dysphagia to regain the fun of food
Uncle Zheng, 89, who suffers from dysphagia, has been relying only on eating paste meals to maintain his body's needs, and has not been able to taste the original taste of the food.
Long-term consumption of battered meals also makes me feel tired, and appetite is greatly reduced, which affects absorption and physical health.
Po Leung Kuk launched the "Aftertaste" soft meal, which preserves the color, aroma, taste and shape of the food, so as to increase Uncle Cheng's appetite and achieve balanced nutrition.
Uncle Zheng was able to reminisce about festive delicacies with his family again, and dine together, so that illness would no longer hinder the taste of delicacies and the fun of family life.
Dance out self-worth and build a cross-generational inclusive network
During the epidemic, the elderly stayed at home for a long time to fight the epidemic, social restrictions and self-denial, making them feel lonely.
Three friends with an average age of 75 participated in the "Old and Young Audition" organized by the Po Leung Kuk Youth Center, where young people taught the elderly K-pop Dance, allowing both parties to develop their talents through dance.
The plan also arranged for a physical therapist to customize a set of stretching exercises for the elderly to strengthen their physical functions. The elderly also "out of the community" accompanied by young people to get rid of the loneliness of the elderly living alone and enhance their self-worth.
Dancing not only allows the beneficiaries to build skills, but also builds a strong inter-generational inclusive network, and "dance" creates a harmonious society.
