Tim Drake,

popularly known to all as

Robin

, came out of the

closet

and realized that he is bisexual in the recently released issue of the

Batman: Urban Legends

comic

# 6.

In the comic, Tim / Robin takes charge of "diversity" that carries the universe forward

DC

and

Batman's

lieutenant

joins the community

LGBT + from the cartoons.

Here he is seen linked to a young man named

Bernard Dowd,

who is introduced as "a friend" who believes in theories about Batman working for the Government, etc.

In other editions of the comic, the young Bernard had

shown himself to be oedipal in love

with an older woman, but that situation has already been and is a thing of the past.

Suspicion is not new: for years it was said that Batman was losing his panache accompanied by the

 lean

figure of the

"freaky"

Robin.

And of Robin it was said that he had "so little glamor" that the best thing that can happen to him at this moment of the

story / comic is a good sex story

.

The talk.

Between Tim Drake (Robin) and Bernard Dowd.

At number six of

Batman: Urban Legends

, which actually is titled

Sum of our Parts

, the true condition of Robin transparentó.

Here we can read that

Drake rescues his friend

Bernard from being eaten by some ominous monsters.

They are to leave ...

When they both manage to return to their normal lives, Robin understands that he feels

romantic things

towards his friend.

They agree to leave, but both know that this meeting will not be just another meeting but the possibility of making a very special appointment.

From now on, Robin's bisexuality is likely to leave the door open for other

closets

for the heroic DC community to have more (and more!) Characters enrolled in the community.

LGBT

.

More from the comic "Batman: Urban Legends # 6".

diversity

Batman had already had other diversity-minded partners like

Batwoman.

Midnighter

too

He is one of the most recent homosexual characters, and in the

Gotham

series

,

the Penguin and the Riddler are already old acquaintances of the gay community to which Robin now joins.

It was published about Robin that "recent history seeks to be a

new beginning

for this character and with this revelation a very different story will be presented to those that have been seen of him."

The comic was written by

Meghan Fitzmartin

and the drawings are by

Belen Ortega

.

The truth is that the

batifamily

has another member of the LGBT community.

ABS.

Those of Batman, in the comic.

"Tim ... do you want to go on a date with me?"

asks Bernard.

"Yeah ... yeah, I think I want that,"

Tim replies.

The

fandom

seems quite happy with the news about Robin's sexuality.

"

All the comments and the love I am receiving from you are overwhelming

," cartoonist Ortega tweeted this Tuesday with the

allusive

emoji

of the rainbow flag.

"Thanks for the support".

However, they are not all flowers.

There is a group of

followers of the old guard

who speak out somewhat against the bisexuality of Batman's partner and kick out loud because they understand that

political correctness has

reached unexpected places in fiction.

"Now they

want all the comic book characters are LGBT

.

..".
