A traffic accident occurred in the Red Tunnel.
At about 5 o'clock in the morning today (11th), an overnight route N118 double-deck KMB was driving along the Hung Hom Cross-Harbour Tunnel towards Kowloon.
Shortly after exiting the tunnel, the bus rammed the automatic toll booth, the windshield burst and fell off, and the left front of the car was severely damaged. A passenger on the bus was injured in his face and hand. The bus was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
