Tests, 2-G and tightening in school: After the Prime Minister's Conference, Söder commented on the new Corona rules for Bavaria.

They hit one group especially.

Munich

- The decisions have been made, new Corona * rules will also apply in Bavaria from autumn.

At a press conference after a meeting with the Prime Minister, Markus Söder made it clear: Especially those who have not been vaccinated have to be prepared for tightening in the Free State.

On one important point, however, no answer was found at the Prime Minister's Conference * (MPK).

An overview of the rules.

Corona in Bavaria: test will soon no longer be free - vaccination remains voluntary

The epidemic situation

will be extended until further notice.

This state of emergency - with limited measures - has yet to be confirmed by the Bundestag.

Söder even called this decision “the most important decision of today's MPK”.

The corona vaccination

remains voluntary in Bavaria.

"We know that the vaccination numbers have to improve, but we do not want a mandatory vaccination," said Söder.

But: Those who do not want to be vaccinated * also have to bear some responsibility.

Free corona tests

therefore end on October 11th.

This does not apply to groups of people who have not yet received a vaccination offer, including pregnant women, for example.

"If you consciously decide to distance yourself from the corona protection, the taxpayer cannot pay that, it is not fair," said Söder, explaining the decision.

Corona in Bavaria: Söder does not rule out 2-G - "We cannot disguise the debate"

3G compulsory (vaccinated, recovered, tested)

will soon come indoors, for example in indoor restaurants, hospitals, indoor sports and while staying in hotels.

But: If the incidence in a federal state is below 35, this rule can be lifted.

Markus Söder does not

rule out 2-G obligation (vaccinated recovery)

for Bavaria in the future either.

"We will not be able to pretend to be a debate about 2G in the long run," predicted the CSU boss.

The "3G solution" that has now been found, which practically equates those who have tested negative for Corona with those who have been vaccinated, will probably not be the end of the discussion, said Söder.

New corona rules for schools

should also come.

For example, Söder announced that the student ID card should become a kind of test certificate in which vaccinations and corona tests are noted.

Apart from that, the same quarantine rules then no longer apply to students who have been vaccinated twice as to their unvaccinated classmates.

Corona incidence: Söder admits - no alternative found

New corona overview value

instead of incidence * - the prime ministers did not find an alternative on this point for the time being.

“That is the trickiest question of all, because it doesn't work without incidence.

But to be completely honest: We haven't found a formula for happiness here, ”confessed Söder.

"You still have to work on it."

Keep your distance and mask requirements will

remain in place for the time being.

Finally, Söder gave his fellow human beings one piece of advice: “Vaccination is the easiest way to get your freedom back.

If you are really a freedom-loving person, I recommend that you reconsider vaccinating. "
