On its official Facebook page, the Ministry of Health has advised citizens not to go out during the hottest hours, calling on them to hydrate regularly.

For its part, the Ministry of Agriculture has encouraged breeders and farmers to take precautionary measures to limit the impact of the heatwave, in particular on poultry and crops.

In neighboring Algeria, the heatwave has fueled about fifty fires since Monday evening, having several 7 dead.

Three people, suspected of having started some of these fires, were also arrested.
