An explosion occurred today (Tuesday) on a ship in the port of Latakia in northern Syria, local media reported.

According to reports, there are casualties in the incident, the reasons for which are not yet clear.



The official SANA news agency reported that two people were injured in a fire that commercial ships in the port, and firefighting crews took over.



In recent months, several actions have been attributed to Israel against Iranian vessels made their way to Syria as part of a marine system secret.
