Cinematic art The art of making a picture and a cinematic image is that which embodies an event and expresses a thought, opinion or social statement through which we see life and learn about its unknown aspects in it to us and the secrets of human life.
The book “The Cinematic Film from Idea to Screen” is written by Fatih Oqla Arsan and issued by the Syrian General Organization for the book, which was reprinted 40 years after its publication as a cognitive, objective and scientific tool that stands for the art of making this image.
The book consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with the characteristics of film production, the second is the preparatory stages for film production, and the third is about filming a movie.
The book states that cinema is not only the art of capturing the image, composing it, and blending it,
but rather it is the art of movement and movement of the actor.
The 200-page book affirms that cinematic art is a synthetic art that depends on all the components of creativity in the other arts “music, singing, plastic art, acting, folk dance and heritage...” and an industry that relies on the finest and most accurate scientific discoveries in the field of optics and modern cinematographic technical industries, as it is an applied economy that depends on all The economic bases and criteria in the manufacturing and production process, so that the final outcome is a cinematic film with an intellectual, educational or entertaining comic content.
According to the book, cinematic art is characterized by all the specifications of a commercial commodity and is traded and dealt with on the basis that it is a cinematic commodity called the cinematic film, considering that cinema is an art, industry, and a planned and programmed economy. and levels.
The book embodies the most important and most important foundations for achieving the cinematic film represented by the principles and stages of film production, starting from the idea to the presentation copy and reaching it to the audience. This specialization in the Arab world is limited to technical aspects and theoretical studies in the history of cinema.
It is noteworthy that Fatih Oqla Arsan, born in Daraa 1946-1983, holds a degree in film production management from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Moscow in 1972, director of production for a number of short and long films produced by the Cinema Foundation, director of film production affairs in the institution from 1978 to 1981, and general manager Foundation for the year 1983, the year of his death.
The author was one of the founders of the Damascus Film Festival and Al-Hayat Film Magazine. He oversaw the rediscovery and restoration of the first Syrian films, honoring their living and late pioneers, and authored a number of books and plays, and was a member of the Arab Writers Union and the Artists Syndicate.
