to prevent

In the meantime, by the way, one can see from the length of the Prime Minister's Conference how sensible or how nonsensical the decisions made are.

If the saving final press conference takes place before 6 p.m., a productive meeting with halfway sensible decisions can be assumed.
Compromises can be expected until 9 p.m., but once again not everyone will accept them.
And should it take any longer, it cannot be ruled out that Angela Merkel will have to apologize again at the end.

In times of climate change, they are highly political and - just like the flood disaster - rightly find their way into the current federal election campaign.

Those who do not want to recognize this connection also believe that diligent smoking refines the complexion.

In Saxony-Anhalt, the CDU, SPD and FDP have

on a
government coalition
. If the newly negotiated contract is approved by all parties, the incumbent Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff could be confirmed in office in mid-September. It would be the
first coalition of the CDU, SPD and FDP
in a German state since 1959.
This
three-way alliance
is now
even considered a possibility for the federal government after the
autumn
election
. I personally don't believe in it. If the SPD allegedly no longer wants to enter into a grand coalition, why should they say yes to a grand coalition plus FDP? Of course, ministerial comrades like Olaf Scholz or Hubertus Heil would rather continue to govern than not govern at all. But the bulk of the party will probably show them off in a friendly manner.
What bothers me most about this coalition option is the name that is now common.
The term

"
is taken for granted, although the color of the FDP is truly not gold.
The name is a blatant euphemism, journalists in particular should find a more neutral term.
